What is Your Jacksonville, FL Home Worth?

Not to long ago a survey done by Zillow, a well respected online real estate source concluded that many homeowners believe that their homes are worth less now, then they did just a year ago.

The actual official Zillo report indicates, and does indeed confirm, that approximately 80% of homes in the general area are now worth less. This is not news that most homeowners want to hear right now.

If your in a position where you are looking to get a value of your home you have a few options:
Prices Down
1. You can contact Zillo for a Zillo estimate called a Zestimate
2. Contact a Jacksonville Realtor For a Professional Comparable Market Analysis otherwise known as a CMA
3. Go online and use a home value estimator
4. Hire a Licensed Appraiser

Unfortunately, all of these methods have issues to one degree or another and usually favor the sellers point of view when it comes to the value.

What ultimately sets the value of a home price is what another person is willing to pay for it. In todays market the buyers are clearly in charge and can get more home for less money, and right now that trend is continuing. With so many to choose from it’s simple supply and demand.
